About this program

The Master of Urban Design at the University of Western Australia, delivered by the Australian Urban Design Research Centre, prepares students to participate at all levels of the urban design profession. Students develop an in-depth understanding of urban design theories and issues, techniques of urban analysis, and skills for the design and development of cities and urban places, through a first year of focused studies in history, theory, implementation strategy and studio-based learning and a second year of advanced work. Graduates work in urban design, planning and city-shaping roles.
