About this program
The Bachelor of Secondary Education at the University of Wollongong is a four-year degree that allows students to become high school teachers in their chosen discipline. The degree develops deep content and pedagogical knowledge, what to teach and how to teach it, within a globalised society, with students studying subjects aligned with their major discipline alongside professional knowledge about how the brain works, psychology and adolescent development, classroom management, Aboriginal education, inclusion, special education, technology and pedagogy. Academic Entry Requirements Applicants must achieve the required score in a previous qualification, equivalent to completing at least 13 years of schooling in Australia.
