About this program
The Bachelor of Economics is a three-year degree from UNSW Business School that develops the ability to analyse, evaluate and forecast economic and social trends using quantitative methods, data analysis and economic modelling. Students study microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and behavioural economics, and can take an optional major to specialise. The degree connects economic tools to real-world challenges including inequality, climate change, taxation, trade policy, competition and consumer behaviour. It is delivered face to face at the Kensington campus with Term 1, 2 and 3 entry, and includes internship opportunities. Graduates work as economists, policy analysts, data and research analysts, consultants and financial analysts across government, central banks, finance, consulting and international agencies.
