Diploma in Architecture
UNSW Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia
About this program
The Diploma in Architecture at UNSW Sydney is a 12-month program that provides a pathway into the second year of UNSW undergraduate degrees in Architectural Studies, Interior Architecture (Honours) and Landscape Architecture (Honours). Students complete eight courses in total, comprising seven first-year-equivalent courses and one general education elective in communication and academic literacy, and are awarded a Diploma in Architecture on completion. The courses match the content and outcomes of first-year UNSW courses but are delivered at a slower pace over a longer 12-week term with more contact hours, giving students more opportunity for consultation, practice and revision as they adjust to university study through lectures, studios and problem-solving workshops. It is delivered at the UNSW Kensington campus in Sydney by UNSW College.
