About this program
The Bachelor of Education Studies at Victoria University develops the skills to lead learning programs outside the traditional classroom and is also an alternative path into teaching. Graduates can work in mentoring and tutoring programs, community programs, public and welfare services, after-school care and teacher aide positions. Students can steer their career toward an area of interest with a major or minor in options including physical education, arts, community, English and teaching English as an additional language, humanities, ICT, maths, outdoor education and science. This course does not provide the prerequisites for teacher registration. It is offered at VU in Melbourne.
