The Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) (CPC50220) at Victoria University prepares students to work as building project managers and to run a construction business in the residential, industrial or commercial sectors. - To be awarded the CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building)
- 27 units must be completed consisting of: 24 core units. 3 elective units
- . - a maximum of one unit may be from any training package or accredited course as long as it ensures the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) alignment and contributes to a valid
- industry-supported vocational outcome. Where the full qualification is not completed
- a VET Statement of Attainment will be issued for each unit successfully completed

Admissions
International applicants must complete to determine suitability:. Pre-training Review (PTR). IELTS 6 (Academic) with no band less than 5.5. . Attend an interview. Literacy and numeracy assessment. Students will/may need to have access to a building and construction site. However, if the student is not working in an appropriate industry, VU can support the student with virtual simulation activities. Some courses receive more applications than the number of places available. In this situation we will also assess your education, work and other relevant experience. Meeting the minimum entry criteria does not guarantee entry into this course.
