About this program
The Diploma of Education Studies at Victoria University prepares students to enter the second year of a teaching degree and is designed for those who did not meet the entry requirements for the Bachelor of Education through VTAC or direct selection. This Victorian Institute of Teaching accredited pathway builds the skills needed for a career in education, and successful completion earns a place in the second year of the Bachelor of Education Studies, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or Bachelor of Arts, with further requirements opening pathways into the Bachelor of Education. Admissions
Meeting the minimum entry criteria does not guarantee entry into this course. Completion of an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate (VCE or equivalent). PLUS. IELTS (or equivalent): Overall score of 6.0 (with no band less than 6.0 in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking).
