About this program
The Master of Science in Precision Instrumentation and Measurement is a two-year program at ANU's Acton campus drawing on three leading research schools: physics, Earth sciences, and astronomy and astrophysics. Students learn from ANU scientists who have developed instrumentation for projects including the Nobel Prize-winning discovery of gravitational waves and high-resolution ion microprobes, focusing on the design and development of advanced scientific instrumentation. Graduates work in instrumentation, metrology, research and development, and precision engineering across research, defence and industry.
